I am always on the quest for healthy, kid approved recipes. At our house, we have a picky toddler that eats just a few things, one being Macaroni and Cheese. It’s hard to beat the store brands that sell for 50 cents, but if you want something with less preservatives, that is just as fast and delicious, give the following recipe a whirl! (This is a toddler approved recipe.)
Easy Cheesy Macaroni
2 cups elbow macaroni
6 ounces Velveeta Extra Thick slices, torn into pieces
1/2 cup milk
Dash black pepper (optional)
In a saucepan cook pasta according to directions. Drain. Return to saucepan. Stir in cheese, milk, and pepper. Cook until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
Makes 3 main-dish servings.
